Over the last fifteen years I have been focused on training initiatives for the private and public sector. Such activities have been as diverse as providing management development for top executives at GE to the creation of air crew training for F-16 pilots. Many of these consultant opportunities were associated with The Disney Institute, a leader in corporate training. Such customized programs ranged from providing leadership training to upper management at MetLife, team building programs for Siemens, to training on customer loyalty with Southern Company utilities.

My training expertise ranges outside of the classroom setting as well, where I focused on the development of online training to major U.S. companies such as U.S. Sprint, Texaco, and Lotus software.

Currently I have been focused on the establishment and support of corporate universities. Such an emphasis is critical to any organization, since training and development are key tools to any transformation. An example of this includes SFA, the arm of the department of education dedicated to helping put America through school through student loans and grants. It also extends to international arenas as well, such as the development of corporate university initiatives for Pick 'n Pay, a progressive South African company devoted to social change.

As background, I received my advanced degree at Brigham Young University in instructional design after completing a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies.
