Fredda Merzon works with government agencies, not-for-profit organizations and individuals on the national, state and local level. She is facilitator of group decision-making processes and organizational assessment. She has been hired to deal with sensitive policy issues, develop collaborative efforts, strengthen intra- and inter-organizational relationships, manage stakeholders, create strategic planning processes and coach organization leaders.

to enhance communication and manage change. In all cases the objective is to gain clarity, assess options, think strategically, and achieve results.
Fredda joined the PSG Network in 1998 and has been on PSG teams in New York, Michigan, and Iowa. Her own work within New York has included projects with the Departments of Health, Transportation, and Education; the Offices of General Services, and Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services; the Comptrollers Office, and a variety of New York City agencies.
Prior to founding, Fredda Merzon Associates in 1989, Fredda was training director and acting executive director of the Center for Women in Government (1978-1989). In this capacity, she worked with New York State and New York City agencies and unions to develop and implement programs to identify and remove barriers to women and minorities in the public sector. As training director she created groundbreaking policy and professional development programs for employees at all levels of government.
Fredda has a MSW from the University of California, Berkeley; a BA from Queens College, New York City, and training in mediation and co-active coaching. |
