In 2006, Volunteers of America asked PSG to facilitate three strategic conversations and help leaders to communicate and assess agreement with a strategic vision. PSG’s work captured key issues and synthesized strategic opportunities for the organization.Volunteers of America realized these desired outcomes -
- Newly constituted National Board owning the process for determining the organization’s strategic direction
- Majority of minister/CEOs, local Board members, national leaders committed to forward progress/ external focus
- “Common ties” formed around shared vision and strategies, informed by both abstract and concrete input from organizational conversations.
