Federal Student Aid (FSA)
Federal Student Aid within the U.S. Department of Education delivers over $50 billion in grants and loans to help more than 8 million students pay for college and vocational education. Since its designation by Congress as our nation's first PBO - performance-base organization, PSG has worked as a transformation partner with FSA.
Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS)
The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) division of the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency is responsible for the disposal of excess and surplus military property generated by American armed forces around the world. DRMS processes turned-in property and then readies it for re-use within DoD or other federal and state agencies or for sale to the general public.
Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS)
The Community-Oriented Policing Services (COPS) office of the U.S. Department of Justice was established as part of the federal Crime Act of 1994. The COPS office is responsible for distributing grants to local units of government in an effort to promote community policing efforts around the country. In the 1990s, PSG worked with COPS to establish its grants process, performance management system, and overall agency strategy.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission
NRC Chairman Shirley Jackson initiated a senior manager-led review of all agency activities, a strategic assessment and "rebaselining", in her words. The project involves four phases: 1) assessment of agency activities; 2) rebaselining, an alignment of activities with the agency's mission; 3) the development of a strategic plan and corresponding performance metrics; and 4) implementation of the plan.
