Contract Period: 1993 - 1994
The Minnesota Technical College System (MTCS) hired PSG to assist the technical college presidents prepare for the merger with the Minnesota State Colleges and University (MnSCU) System. As a result, over a period of 8 months, PSG planned and facilitated meetings with 33 college presidents to design strategies for merging with the new system.
Results Achieved
A strategic plan was developed that included topics to be addressed, definition of the issues, lead persons assigned, timelines established, etc.
This plan was then executed by presidents through a PSG-facilitated process at quarterly meetings.
Specific activities
Designed, lead and facilitated a series of four retreats that led to
the development of a strategic plan.
