John Johnson
John has been consulting non-profit leaders for over 25 years. His clients include industrial, academic, technology, health care, financial, government and professional practice organizations.
John’s special consultation interests are in the strategic positioning of organizations and agencies and then in their comprehensive transformation to accomplish the strategic positioning. John brings clients the skill sets of organizational design and complex problem diagnosis. He is currently doing this with two large health care systems. He is also doing it with a web site design firm, an international manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, an information technology services firm and several health care clinics. John began his career as a community organizer, founding the Community Action Council of Dakota County, Minnesota, an organization that has kept expanding for 39 years. He is the founder of Changemaking Systems organization development consulting firm and the founding partner of Minnesota Horizons Group, a company that produces events for public dialogue on social change. He is a seasoned practitioner of Peter Block’s “Flawless Consulting", and his mission is to aid others in feeling and being more influential.

Bill Svrluga
Bill is a strategy, planning and organization effectiveness consultant with more than 30 years of leadership experience in business, higher education, non-profit and government organizations. He’s especially recognized for:
- Diagnosis of issues and the design/implementation of effective strategies
- Establishing strategic direction
- Redesign of organization cultures and work processes
- Program design and evaluation
Bill has served in executive positions at General Mills and Land O’Lakes; and earlier as a senior administrator/Dean at Loyola University of Chicago, Macalester College and Carleton College. Bill has a strong commitment to strengthen his community, serving on the boards of several local and national community service non-profits, and as a member of the design and start-up teams of Twin Cities RISE!, the Jeremiah program, and Ujaama (long-term workskills/self-sufficiency programs for low-income adults.)

Beverly Stein
Beverly Stein is President and co-owner of the Public Strategies Group. Prior to government service in the Oregon legislature as a state representative and as the elected county executive of Multnomah County, Oregon, Beverly was an attorney in private practice and a strategic planner and facilitator for non-profit organizations, small businesses, and government. She was one of the first professional facilitators in Oregon. Over the last thirty years she has worked with over 100 clients on strategic plans, board development, and organizational change. Her clients have included elected boards, universities, social service agencies, civic organizations, the Girl Scouts, and arts organizations. Early in her career she was a community organizer for issues such as community development, energy, environmental issues, and racial and gender equality.

Tom Moss
Tom is an accomplished leader in non-profit and government management, with strong strategic and budgeting skills. He excels in the development and operation of high performance organizations that will achieve results for consumers, while adapting to changing environments.
Tom's expertise includes strategic planning, performance management, outcome budgeting and human service program design, and has been consulting with PSG since 2002. Tom directed Human Service programs in Minnesota state government during the 90’s, and previously spent 20 years as a chief executive in non-profit, religiously affiliated health and housing services for the elderly. He began his career in direct client service, working with mentally challenged clients.
